rest in peace(s)failed projects, and shit we either lost or just got bored with
so you see, what had happend was... i remembred how much i like swing bikes, i've built them before. i guess that i just totaly forgot how they swung ? this bike sucks, the pedals hit the ground, and the back end is completly wobbly and this is after i cut it in two and re-welded it. this bike sucks and will sit on the junk pile rusting until we need a part from it.
here is the bassman as inspired by my friend klaas. prior to the fire the frame sat about three inches off the ground, and the top tube, that is now way off, sat several inches above the handlebars and the down tube hugged the front wheel. this was the closest i've come from scetch to physical bike. also the first time i really got into using the pipe bender.
this was the tall bike i was working on. an exercise in using the pipe bender and making as much as possible as opposed to using premade bends and parts. everything was going so well... if you look close you can see a derailurerer as a chain tensioner and two bottom brackets as the head tubes. everything except the fork legs was bent in my hand mandrill. the little bit of coasting i got to do on it seemed pretty sweet ! lots of potentential still, we'll see... click here to see those sweet bottoms !
you may be asking yourself  "why scissors?" and i'll tell you !! a while back i got a cold, and like any good bike ganger i dodn't let that stop me, so a week later i'm really sick and self medicating. loads of vodka and mt. dew and NyQuil ( one of the only time i use capital letters) i'm watching south park and it's the episode where mr. garison gets a sex change to a girl and finds out he/she is a lesbian. blah blah blah mr. garison has some hot girl on girl action, scissoring(look it up mike) . well i pass out at some point in time after that and have a vision, that was, SCISSORS !!! two girls bikes dyking it out at their bottom brackets, i've always thought if a bike had a vagine that would be it, wa-lah ! and in my dream i used u-v joints from a socket set to make the very opposed head set angles work together in pride and unity !! i wake up and triumphantly yell "scissors" and go off and build it w/ out a whole lotta trouble. using wobble, or u-v or whatever you call them, the socket adapters that allow them to be driven at different angles, if you can't get it in there. fuck off boxxed wine !! click here to see a "better" picture of what little was left of the sockets.
bikes !!
