here are some of our works in progress. this page has been here since the site was opened and no one has visited it, ever. ev-ver. i guess the link wasn't attractive enough. here ! look here !!

The Big Pile O' Shiznit! it's nice to have a whole heap of bikes to mess up and trip over and collect rust and make the neighbors think you're a total hick. sweet. yee-haw !!

lots of the bikes you see here were given to us by people who didn't want the any more. we get 'em and promtly hack they up and reweld them back as we see fit.it's impressive how surprised they are when they see their old biks a few days later.typical remark "oh my god, what have you done to my old bike?!?"
-our response " We fixed it, look at how much better we made it !"
a lot of the bikes also come from scavenging missions through town.you'd be amazed at the cool stuff people pitch !!

TANG - Low and Slow, that's the tempo. i realize tang is no longer orange but i think changing her name because of such a small detail seems silly.

WICKED - Having the ability to clear doubles and fallen riders in single bounds, and a hardened exo-skeleton and up-rated springer fork(office chair spring). Wicked was once an a$$kicker However fighting valiantly, she was ridden into the ground at the First Annual Clunker Classic. She was parted out... "that others may live." She is currently awaiting her electric Viking funeral.

Wicked has been chopped and is living again as a new bike that is un-named (and un-braked) pics to come soon in the works in progress secton that doesnt yet exist

CRUIZZILLAAARGH!!! - She's a 69 Schwinn Typhoon Original paint, Springer fork, ape hangers, springer banana seat, and shocker sissy bar. She's a comfortable and classy ride (not to mention well mannered and tame). One of the more recent additions to the armada. (Better pics to come)

ROLLING THUNDER - 'thunder' is a 1946 Western Flyer Tank Frame with a skip tooth drive train and 2.5 wheels and tires. Very little can stop her, curbs, other bikes, not even her coaster brake. 'thunder' is currently stationed in PA on home gaurd detail protecting us from the Canadians. (There is an invasion planned soon!)

COOL HAND LUKE - (Because sometimes nothing is a pretty cool hand) Cool Hand Luke was a regular MTB purchased for ten dollars by Tory, who never got to ride it (Thanks Jared) The forks were stolen off of Chopper Ray Ray (Death Trap) initiating the springer fork project. Cool Hand Luke was the most diffcult to ride at the First Annual Clunker Classic. Fortunantly for everyone his forks twisted and contorted in mysterious ways before the actual race or Jared wouldn't be with us. With any luck, Luke will be reincarnated to try again...

CHOPPER RAY RAY - (A.K.A. Death Trap) This bike was the first chopper created by the current Klunker line up. This was broken then we added the back end of a Huffy 10 speed and construction on the worlds scariest chopper springer fork began. Once completed, the bike was renamed Death Trap for obvious reasons.

WEE LITTLE BIKE - Is a 24" MTB with a 27" roadfork and 14" front wheel (do the math on this one). We rode this around and noticed that all of your weight was centered over the front tire. We decided is was good for running into shiznit and mounted a battering ram around the front tire and WEE LITTLE BIKE became The Annoying Gnat, that none of the other bikes could destroy, but it never really hurt anything either.

mini bike. eric has an un-natural fondness for this thing...i think well fix that by making it our one and only tall bike......at least 6 feet straight up this is a great idea

charlene "the cannon"cannondale . she is a really mean and terrible thing. she beats up other bikes, her rider, this car, ya' know, that old chestnut, she once killed a thief who tried to steal her. the picture you see here was the result of jared's incompotence. ih, who can blame him really ? she pitched him off in a fit of rage and attacked this innocent bystander(she hates cars almost as much as huffy's) if you see this bike locked up, know this, it's for your protection, not her's.

this is dave's bike it's a basic chopper but with great front and back brakes and front and rear shifters. fast and stoppable ?, what a concept ? this fine ride also features a BIOPACE chainring !! how cool is that ?!?- really cool !!

this bike has a whole lotta potential, and is un-named. it has a full mt. bike gearing and actual "v-brakes" it handles half way alright too. we plan on fixing that with the quickness by chopping way too much fork and rake and yadda yadda ya' know.

side note -flat tire. he he

we got a good thing going with the motocycle front end. these rock ! every one should make a bike like this. they roll over everything ! yee-haw

in a poor effort to try and re-capture some of the asskicking of "operation curb stomp" here we have the "ss iminitfailure". it currently has no brakes at all and the chain skips.my only hope for this is to take at least a couple people out w/ me when this thing suffers a major structural failure.

this bike WAS so cool it didn't last two nights outside to fend for it's self. this bike was stolen even before the crappy welds could rust. what the hell ?!?!

slugstomp ! behold ! this is really a new class in chopper. "drug dealer" full suspension w/ a motorcycle front end. the drum break actually works, thank god ! this thing is built off of the idea of CURBSTOMP and is even tougher. look out here is a picture of jared "aiming" it down a hill at the second annual Klunker Klassic.

Operation Curb Stomp- motorcycle fork wheel and drum brake. what 'stomp can't steer around (most everything, look at that tire!!) it'll go right the heck over.

some of our best ideas are the ones that almost worked. this one, almost worked. little did i know that when you put extra wheels on the front the whole concept of "rake" gets tuned upside down. we are still in the drinking and development phase of the is death trap waste of time pos. i am a failure. this thing never got a name even. uhhhg. pressing on.

this little baby is "left eye" we scrapped the wheel chair bike idea and parted it out.

This is the USS Marilyn Monroe she was raked (a lot) before we built the fork creating a bike that almost dragged the ground and was hard to steer. well six feet of black steel pipe later we had her stretched to a respectable chop and she was a gas to ride! what do you know?

this is "little pete" he has your average gazel fork with actual welds ! and hard plastic front wheel of a wheel chair. sweet.

her Neck has been repaired after her near fatal inujury outside the alamo after "monday night Blues" one of the few bikes to ever get sent to the parts pile and return before she actually was stripped for parts.

jackie's bike (yet to be named) is a pretty sweet ride ! real brakes and gears, who knew ?

here is my version of a swing bike. i guess it's name'd be the drunk slayer as it is really hard to ride when you're intoxicated.

h ere is my first efforts in the realm of tallbikes. it doesn't have a name, as it hasn't been ridden all that much since it was built for the BLBC bike kill, in october. it was hit by a car immediatly after it was built, while on the way there. totaly fucked. didn't last a week. i think that's a new record in work to ride ration. awsome. rebuilt the wheel and look at the frame from time to time. more to come on this later...

this bike really is the state of the fucking art in backwards bike mechanics. it's got full suspension, front and back "V" brakes and upwards of 21 speeds ! as you can see i basically just welded the two half bits of bike togehter and wa-la ! the "honda coranada" as it's called, much in the same manner as "chopper ray-ray" was named, dominates stairs, both going up, or down. this thing actually works very well and isn't that hard to ride !!!

here is mike's tall bike, your basic girl on boy action, the closest mike's been to that in quite some time...but we decided to mix it up a bit and run a left side drive to the bottom bottom braket and then cross over and back and whatever. this is one of the best ballanced tall bikes we've ever built. it's got front and back brakes and a few gears to choose from. except for it's tendancy to loosen the top bottom braket (due to it being on the wrong side, and right handed threads) which, if care for isn't an issue, this bike rocks !! now if only the rider could catch up, mike !

here is the amazing barberella !! a happy fun time bike belonging to daniell (sp?) she's in a gang called the bike bangers and that's cute !
